Eric Holland has been a licensed health and life insurance advisor since 2004. In his more than two decades of dedicated service, he has found his passion in helping others and ensuring they have the proper plan to make it both to and through retirement.

Licensed in more than 30 states, Eric was certified as an LUTCF (Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow) in 2011, a professional designation that signifies a level of knowledge and expertise in life insurance and financial planning. He founded Holland Insurance Services LLC in 2021 to have more freedom in the strategies that he and the 30+ advisors in his growing network can provide to clients.

Eric says, “I was in a captive role with one insurance company for over 16 years until I finally decided that I wanted the freedom and flexibility of an independent advisor. I wanted the ability to represent any insurance company I thought would best protect clients and their families. When I founded my firm, I wanted our allegiance to only be to our clients and not to any one insurance company. Holland Insurance Services will always act in the best interest of our clients first and foremost.”

As an independent insurance advisor and advocate, Eric’s goal is to build long-term, lasting relationships with his clients. He believes that his career is about connections more than it is about money. “I love working in this industry, and I’ve been lucky enough to be part of something bigger than myself for over two decades now,” Eric says. “More than anything else, the friendships I’ve built stand out, and it’s my job to ensure that those friends are taken care of today, tomorrow and beyond.”

Specializing in Medicare planning, Eric helps people transition from their working years into retirement.

I feel I am different because of my 20+ years of experience with not only Medicare, but also life, long-term care, and annuity products. I believe in truly helping protect people in retirement—it’s all about safety and guarantees provided by the financial strength of insurance companies. I want to insulate them from the financial catastrophes that can arise from health conditions and bad investments.”

— Eric Holland

Before founding his own firm, Eric was a Medicare advisor, sold health, life, and annuity products, and he recruited, trained, and developed insurance advisors while handling his own clients. Now that he has his own company, he’s excited about the growth of his team at Holland Insurance Services, and he has more than 30 agents in his network at various locations in the U.S.

As founder and owner, it is important to Eric that Holland Insurance Services represent multiple highly-rated and financially-sound insurance carriers that can help give clients peace of mind. “Longevity is the key, so I want to work with carriers that have survived the kind of conditions we are looking to guide our clients through,” he says.

When it comes to creating a plan that works, Eric believes in proper asset allocation divided into four categories of guarantees: liquidity, principal, principal and interest, and none. He gets to that balance by using a variety of health and life insurance products as well as alternatives to investments that are exposed to market risk.
